Are the slip-on and full system kits supplied complete with all the components required for assembly or do other parts have to be purchased separately?

All LeoVince slip-on and full system kits are "Plug and Play", all of the components necessary for assembly are included in the package (muffler(s), manifold(s), bracket(s), small parts, etc.), any accessories are indicated in the "Spare parts & accessories" section of the product sheet. To install the product on the vehicle, it is not necessary to purchase additional components separately and/or make any modifications.

Do the universal muffler kits come complete with all the components needed for assembly or do I need to purchase other parts separately?

Universal muffler kits are supplied without a specific manifold and may require additional components and/or modifications to be adapted to the vehicle.

During a check by the law enforcement I’ve been criticized for failing transcription of the original exhaust replacement with a LeoVince approved exhaust on the registration certification. What can I do?

In the EU, the circular number 2438/4183 / (0) of 29th August 1996 of Motor Vehicles has determined that after the installation of an approved exhaust replacement on a vehicle is not necessary to updating the registration document.

Is it necessary to remap the control unit or make changes to the bike after the installation of a LeoVince exhaust?

Unless otherwise stated in the assembly instruction, remapping isn’t necessary because our exhausts are developed to ensure optimum operation even with the bike in standard configuration. Remapping the bikes fuel injection system and/or the installation of an additional unit control may further improve the performance, however.

If I fit the LeoVince exhaust, should I eliminate the valve present on the original exhaust of my bike?

Yes, in the most cases the valve is removed together with the original exhaust. The procedure to follow is indicated in the assembly instructions.

My original exhaust is equipped with an oxygen sensor; what should I do if I mount a LeoVince exhaust?

If present on the original exhaust, also the LeoVince manifold provides the housing of the oxygen sensor.

Can LeoVince silencers be repacked?

Yes, a sound-absorbing material kit purchased from our dealers is available for most of the LeoVince products. The replacement frequency varies according to the bike model and the type of use. It is suggested to replace immediately the sound-absorbing material in presence of significant color variation of the outer sleeve and/or noise increase.

How can I clean my LeoVince exhaust?

As regards the metal parts, we suggest you the use of a soft cloth and a non-abrasive cleaning product (Example: WD-40®or similar).
For the carbon parts, use a soft cloth and a mild detergent.
For all operations, wait the exhaust becomes cold.

I lost the approval; is it possible to get a copy?

You can download the USER MANUAL directly on "YOUR BIKE" page on our website. If your motorcycle is not listed or the homologation certificate is not available there, you can request it by filling the contact us form including the brand, model and year of your motorcycle and the homologation number present on the silencer.

Does the LeoVince Homologation card replace the E-PASS certificate included in the user manual?

No, the LeoVince Homologation card does not replace the E-PASS certificate included in the booklet.
