Impressed with LV yet again.
Installed in a DRZ400SM. So far so good. The different inserts that came with the slip on was a very nice touch. Able to tune sound more than other brands.

Purchased the X3 3836 for a 2019 DRZ400 SM. Was looking for a little more "bark" than the OEM pipe provided without being obnoxiously loud. With the addition of the spark screen and insertion of the cut-off long plug with partition (drilled), the X3 has totally met that requirement. Excellent packaging -
item arrived undamaged after shipping. Muffler is attractive, well-constructed and is robust - it weighs only a little less than OEM. Installation was easy - no gymnastics or special skills were required to obtain a proper fit the first time. Appearance is subjective but I think addition of the X3 improves the looks of my DRZ. My bike had previously been re-jetted for leanness and the 3x3 airbox mod. After installing the X3, I changed the carb main jet and needle position to eliminate popping on deceleration (info and jet provided in the JD jet kit).

I bought the slip on unit for my Suzuki DRZ S model.Let’s start with the likes which there’s more of: price is very fair compared to other top brands. I matched up the carburetor with a JD Jetting kit with air box mod and aftermarket air filter, runs perfect for my higher elevation region. Leo Vince customer relations is top shelf. I had a problem right away with one of the end cap screws breaking off upon removal so I could put one of the provided silencing baffles in along with the spark arresting screen. I then broke off the easy out tool in the broken screw. I asked LV if they could send out an end plate and I’d install that to complete the repair. After a little search for shipping sticker numbers in the original packaging LV sent me a new complete muffler/silencer unit. That’s outstanding! I love the selection of said baffles accompanied with the system.
Dislikes:the short baffle makes the note to loud,the bike runs so much stronger than the long one which is quiet but reduces felt acceleration. Oh well,it’s not a race bike. Lastly the muffler clamp doesn’t secure the unit securely enough. I had to fab up a heat resistant cushion and the muffler moves around to much for my preference.
