22’ Yamaha R7 Very Satisfied Upgrade
Ordered and arrived to the US Midwest quickly. Well-packaged full exhaust. Included instructions were well written, except it took a couple of us, a couple tries, to properly figure out how to use the exhaust springs. I first connected two springs per connection, and was short springs for the last connection. Once the OEM exhaust was removed, it was noticeable how much heavier and inefficient the OEM is compared to the Leo Vince replacement. The Leo Vince headers are well engineered. The Leo Vince muffler exits near the passenger pillion, vs the OEM that is near the ground. I kept the Leo Vince DB killer intact, and sound is louder and slightly deeper notes than OEM. I’m not a professional, but willing to tinker. Changing exhaust systems took about 4 hours. Working with Yamaha R7 fairing covers was my most difficult tasks. Performance wise, only other change is a K&N filter. I’m extremely satisfied with the purchase and result.
